Though the camp was tiring, I learn many things through this camp be it good or bad. Mostly through the children:
I had very fun children in my P3 class, though they were very naughty at times, but they were fun-loving and cute people. First couple were my very own Sunday School students - Matthias and Vegas, they like to sit right in front of the class and distracts the ongoing of the class. I had no choice but to call them nicknames to stop them from creating nuisance. I call Matthias 'Ah Matt' (pronounced as 'Ahmad') while Vegas 'v-gas' or 'gassy'. I find these names cute, don't you feel so too? The next group of children were from my children sunday school too, Lois and Lin Hao. Lois is an isolated girl who does not like to socialise with people, but she likes to ask question especially to Sze Miin and me, she always sit alone in class and during our session where sometimes I have to force her to sit with the other girls. Lin Hao, had a very typical Chinese single son life. He's very 野蛮 and thinks he's the biggest and the king of us. But I thank God that He was tamed by the Lord as is getting better and begin to appreciate fellowship life. I pray to God that He'll lead and change Lin Hao to become a someone that the Lord would use. Another group of students came from FSC; Jeaine, Janvier, Wei Jian and Benedict, these people, probably have been look after by uncles and aunties, so they were really rude and has to be repeatedly scolded to get them disciplined. Finally another group are cousins, nephews and someone I do not know; Sarah, Bing Zhong, Jing Han, Zi Hua and Zheng Yi, they are the quietest group for the first two days, probably they do not know me well. But they became very playful on the last day!
I led another group of children in the games, I had 12 children ranging from N2 to P6, they were interesting and lively! I shall share with you in my Part III during our IMM giant game.
