I've been busy with the Children Camp 06 from 30 nov to 2 dec for 3 days. These 3 days is a mental and physical torture to us. I was a teacher and a group leader in the camp, I took P3 students together with Sze Miin, Eve and Yee Wah. Our responsibility is to inculcate them towards discernment and to make the right discernment apart from mere judgement.
P3 had 12 students in my class initially, most of them are very different, I had to shout at them to control and order them. It was very tough case as both Eve and Yee Wah were new to it and were inexperience in taming the children. So some children, especially the ones from the fsc, would ride over us. I had to shout at them eventually to pass the discipline. The children feels that I'm a fierce teacher. I agree that I may lose my temper and patience, which probably due to my lack of sleep for these 3 days.
Throughout this camp, I truly learn alot of things from the children as well as the theme 'discernment'. I learn that I should not pass judgement easily, and the children pick things real fast, so I had to control myself not to say something foolish so that the children don't imitate from me.
