Description: Haven't got a good time to read the papers recently. So took the opportunity to
read the papers on board of the bus. As an EA (Easily Amused) person, today's
paper were somehow interesting. Articles taken from The New Paper On

1. Wedding @ Newton Food Centre
This coverage covers a Malaysian couple holding their wedding dinner in Newton Food Centre. It was Newton Food Centre's first ever held wedding dinner in their premise. Though there were 50 guests who came for this dinner, none were awkward about it, instead they felt amused. Moreover, holding his wedding dinner here in Newton Food Centre, his bride was not there due to visa problems to Singapore. She was held up in Malaysia then.
** Hmm... wonderful idea to hold someone's wedding in Newton Food Centre! I wouldn't mind attending such wedding there, cos i think that's creative. So imagine, the hawker bartender, hawker chef etc... But what really amuses me is that his bride is not there during this wedding dinner, but nevertheless, the guests still enjoyed themselves. Blessing to this couple.
2. People coming from around the world to Mother House
This brief covers about volunteers comng around the world to the home that the late Mother Teresa's had lended her support - Mother House. Some were on pilgrimage while others were simply there to help out. What these people had is a aheart to help out these poor. There were critics of Mother Teresa's action (a timeless adage), the critics questioned "Why give fish when you can teach them to fish?", but the sisters says "The ones we work for can't even hold a fishing rod." The report of the 'poorest of the poor'.
** The report on Mother Teresa's love and care touches the heart of everyone. If not for her undying love for these poor, the love of God wouldn't have be so stemmed in India. I once heard a few stories about her from a teacher, one of them was that the pope had once given her a posh car as a reward to help her to move around. However, Mother Teresa decided to sell the car to help the people in need. It prompted me a question, Christians nowadays are getting more and more 'self-centred' (@ least my Christian friends behaved that way), how do we really can display this unlimit display of God's love to the people we need. Mother Teresa loved those who are lovely and 'unlovely'. How about us? Lord, please teach me! ;-)
