Just yesterday, our camp just change of command of our commander. Have the priviledge to witness the new mar of new command from Col Tay to Col Anson.
Attended the ceremony with Kenny. We were joking about Col Anson's photograph. He looked so much so like someone we know if that 'someone' is thinner.
During the ceremony, the crew played the video montage of Col Tay during his command in ITI, it touched me and I believe, many others, which kept holding our tears back from rolling down. After the montage, I truly appreciate Col Tay's command during his years. He's someone we should look up to, and a fellow brother-in-christ we should learn from. He gave his valecdiction after the montage followed by the swearing in of the new commander. All these took place in a peaceful means.
After the ceremony, we were told to line up one line from the entrance to the specialist mess. All of us will gave a farewell shake-hand with Col Tay, I guess that's the last word I would tell him in ITI and that is 'Best Wishes!'. After seeing Col Tay off, Col Anson enter ITI will the presence of Lion dance, with colorful smokes. It is so heartwarming... ;-)
